When Zaydeh Danced on Eldridge Street at the Museum of Jewish Heritage

From November 17-20, 2022, Scott will be performing in a concert reading of When Zaydeh Danced on Eldridge Street, presented by Living Lotus Projects and the Museum of Jewish Heritage. It is a delightful 1-hour family musical based on the award-winning picture book by Elsa Rael, which tells the story of Zeesie–a bright, inquisitive girl on the Lower East Side of New York City in 1935–and what surprises await her and her very stern grandfather on Simchat Torah, when they have no choice but to go to temple together while Mama is giving birth to a son, who Zaydeh hopes will finally be the one to carry on his legacy. Scott will be playing Zeesie's proud Papa and the temple Cantor. There are four performances, all at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place, NYC): November 17 at noon and 7pm, November 18 at noon and November 20 at 2pm. Tickets and more information are available at Theater: When Zaydeh Danced on Eldridge Street | mjhnyc.org
